The Carol Evening - Monday 19th Decemebr 2011

What a fantastic evening we had on Monday. It was wonderful to see so many people attend despite the dreary day that we had. The weather did manage to stop drizzling just in time for the charity event - Cash for Kids. I would like to say a huge thank -you to all who donated cash for the very worthy charity that we selected this year. In the auction alone we raised £605. We are just waiting for the final amount raised to be confirmed by the Cash for Kids charity. I would also like to say thank you to Linton Brown of Hull city Tigers who donated 4 Hull City tickets to a game. Sancton Wind Farm for the donation of the hamper and Drewton day spa for donating a half day spa. All were well recieved. <br>The event also had the honour of a visit from Santa and the Cash for Kids mascot. Everyone sang along to the many carols and enjoyed the mulled wine and mince pies. Many booked and enjoyed the 2 course supper. A great evening all in all.....................can't wait for next year!
