Firstly, welcome back!

If you have symptoms of Covid19 or have been in the company of someone who has Covid19 or symptoms of, then we ask that you do not enter The Star Inn. This is to protect our other customers and our team. Please use the sanitisers that are supplied around the Star Inn, wash facilities are available in the toilets. 

Please try and stick to your booking time as this also helps with social distancing.

We have reduced the amount of tables that we have inside the Star, but extended the amount we have outside, we also have screens to help divide tables. Currently we are only serving tables of up to 6 people as stated by government guidelines. 

On arrival at the Star, we ask that you sanitise your hands on entry and wait to be seated.  If you can see a group waiting to be seated in the bar area, please wait behind the full glass doors and when the group in front of you move, then you can step forward. We are offering table service throughout, there is no ordering at the bar itself. We have a wonderful  new extended area outside that customers can enjoy, either to have a meal or a quick drink.

The Star is operating a table service only and we request that customers stay seated at their table. Customers are not permitted to go up to other tables of people they know. We also ask that customers do not shout or raise their voices as this can lead to an aerosol effect of droplets.

The toilets operate on a one in, one out basis, regardless of which sex toilet is occupied. There is a manual vacant/engaged sign for customers to use on entering and leaving the toilets. Please take the quickest route to the toilets.

Customers who are accompanied by children are responsible for supervising them at all times and should follow social distancing guidelines also.

We would like people to use contactless payments where possible. 

All contact areas are regularly sanitised to help reduce any risks. We also have boxes of tissues placed in each room and bins for disposal.

We are in contact and working with the local council on current guidelines, these will be monitored and changed accordingly as situations and guidelines change.

We would like to assure you that all guidelines have been adhered to, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that our customers and our team are safe. The team have had specific Covid19 training to be able to return to work.
