Starters
Yorkshire pudding with braised ox cheek, red onion marmalade and red wine jus.
Tomato, red pepper and basil soup with sour dough croutons.
Staal beetroot cured and smoked salmon with compressed apple, dill mayonnaise, radish and red vein sorrel.
Ham and green peppercorn terrine with bacon and red onion marmalade, pickled quail egg and sourdough toast.
Salt baked celeriac and brown butter puree with smoked Lincolnshire poachers, truffle dressing, candied walnuts and lambs’ lettuce.
Heirloom tomato salad and whipped ricotta with pickled fennel, black garlic ketchup and wild garlic pesto.
Mains
Roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes and gravy.
Roast pork loin with sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, crackling, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato and gravy.
Roast chicken breast with dauphinoise potato, cipollini onion, king oyster mushrooms and chicken velouté.
Star Inn steak and ale pie with braised red cabbage and hand cut chips.
Confit duck leg with spiced lentils, duck fat salsify, caramelised carrot, roast onion and pak choi.
Pan-fried black bream, white bean and chorizo cassoulet, roast fennel and verde.
Caramelised carrot tart tatin, maple, whipped feta with confit tomato. soubise sauce, charred asparagus and crispy nero.
All mains served with season vegetables.
Desserts
Rhubarb pavlova, crème patisserie, rhubarb jam and custard crumb.
Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream
Golden syrup tart, clotted cream, dulce de leche and raspberry compote.Strawberry cheesecake baked white chocolate, fresh strawberries and strawberry gel.
Spotted dick and custard.

Some dishes from the adult menu can be made smaller if they would like something a little more grown up.
