Some adult dishes can suit children who would like something a little more grown up, but in a smaller size. However, if there's nothing that suits, please see the Little Star's menu at the bottom of the adults menu.
Starters
Yorkshire pudding with braised ox cheek, red onion marmalade and red wine jus.
Tomato, red pepper and basil soup with sourdough croutons.
Staal beetroot cured and smoked salmon with compressed apple, beetroot ketchup, dill mayonnaise, daikon radish and red vein sorrel.
Roast ham and green peppercorn terrine with ale chutney, pickled quail egg and sourdough toast.
Yorkshire asparagus with brown butter hollandaise, toasted hazelnuts, smoked poacher’s crisps and wild garlic pesto.
Heirloom tomato salad and burrata with pickled fennel, tomato chutney, lambs lettuce and balsamic.
Mains
Roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roast potatoes and gravy.
Roast pork loin with sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, crackling, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato and gravy.
Roast chicken breast with dauphinoise potato, Roscoff onion, king oyster mushroom and chicken velouté.
Panfried seabass, roast chorizo potatoes, black pudding, fennel, monk’s beard and wild garlic oil.
Star Inn steak and ale pie with braised red cabbage and hand cut chips.
Confit duck leg with puy lentils, creamed potato, caramelised carrots and pak choi.
Caramelised carrot tart tatin, maple, whipped feta with confit tomato, sage soubise sauce and crispy nero.
All mains served with season vegetables.
Desserts
Rhubarb pavlova, crème patisserie, rhubarb jam and custard crumb.
Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.
Chocolate brownie, dulce de leche, sour cherry and vanilla ice-cream.
Raspberry cheesecake, white chocolate crumb, raspberry sorbet, gel and fresh raspberries.
Seville orange marmalade bread and butter pudding with custard.
